National Health Barometer
The National Health Barometer is an ongoing survey regarding the Swedes knowledge, experiences and attitudes towards the public health sector. The survey is carried out by the Swedish health regions and annually 0,5% of the adult population participate in the survey. It covers topics such as the quality of health service, accessibility of health services, the use of ICT in order to contact and interact with health providers and the overall satisfaction with the public financed health sector. The aim of the survey is to provide politicians, civil servants and managers in the public health sector with the public opinion regarding health services and also to benchmark each region and track the development over time.
