Knowledge of Choose & Book Programme Amongst GPs in England

Short description

In October 2004 the National Audit Office (NAO) commissioned Doctors.net.uk to conduct a study covering the Department’s preparations for the introduction of the Choose and Book project. The purpose of this 2005 phase of the research was primarily to update the results found in 2004 and to make a comparison with those results to understand to what extent GPs views on Choose and Book have changed. This report contains charts and details of the demographics, the degree of understanding, the consultation process, information and choice, the experience of Choose & Book, the impact on patients and the impact on General Practitioners in comparison with the 2004 survey.
